This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Miracle-Gro. All opinions are 100% mine.

Hello friends! Today I wanted to share with you some more ideas, tips and product information on how to inspire you to create beauty in your yard or containers plants.  I can spend hours searching blogs, pinterest and websites for ideas on how to improve our home. So, when I saw Miracle-Gro has videos that teach, give you ideas and explain what products to use, I wanted to share this information.

Miracle-Gro videos are called Gardenieres, which have been very helpful and has inspire me to what to create beauty. I love these videos because many of the people who create these Gardenieres videos are from different parts of the US. Giving you ideas on how to plant or keep your plants and yard healthy for your region.

Find beauty in the Fall

Also, the videos explain different topics like soil, urban gardening, how to decorate with plants, harvesting rainwater and gardening on rooftops for those who live in the city. These videos are very informative and truly inspired me to tackle my fear on container planting.  I am far from having a green thumb, but I want to tackle container plants and these videos are very helpful. Gardenieres

I will be using the Miracle-Gro expand ‘N grow planting mix and shake ‘N feed moisture control.  The great thing about the expand “N grow is that you add water to this plant mix first and it expands. It holds up to 50% more water than basic potting soil and feeds plants for up to 6 months.  I also will be using the shake ‘N feed moisture control, which will give a continuous release plant food to all my container plants, flowers, trees and shrubs. Stop by today and join Miracle-Gro Facebook page to interact with other garden enthusiasts. You will be inspire!

Thanks again for stopping by and I love to hear about your next gardening project so leave me a comment.

Hugs,

Vanessa

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups Ice Cream Pie!

Today, I wanted to share a simple and delicious ice cream pie recipe, I made for my son's 16th birthday. Let me just say it was a huge hit!

Here is what you will need:
1/2 gallon chocolate ice cream (any flavor will do)
10 oz. pack of Reese's Peanut butter cups (any candy will do)
Hot fudge and chopped up nuts or no nuts.

Chop up peanut butter cups and peanuts.
In a mixing bowl add soften ice cream, nuts and peanut butter cups and mix together.
Next pour mixture into piecrust and place in the back part of freezer for up to 6 hrs. I chose not to make my crust this time, but you can if you like.
Take pie out of freezer and let sit for about 10 minutes before cutting.
I added more peanuts and drizzled hot fudge over pie and there you have it, Chocolate peanut butter pie!
Give this a try for your next family gathering or any event. Thanks again for stopping by and have a great week. I LOVE your SWEET comments, so drop me a line.

Hugs,

Vanessa

How To Get Rid Of Rust!

I had this project for about five months and I wasn't sure how to fix this rusty metal vase. As I was shopping at Wal-mart I came across this product to help with rust, the cost was under $5. Another reason why I chose this product is because it's earth friendly.

As I poured the Must For Rust product on the vase it just dissolved the rust off right away. Awesome! I then rinsed it out and let dry completely. Finally, I gave the vase two coats of black spray paint and it looks brand new. Love it! Great way to fix an old rusty vase into a new an improve vase.

Great stuff must try it out!
Rusty!
This picture doesn't do justice. The vase is smooth and there is no rust. I just forget to take a picture before I painted. : )
My total cost for this project was $6 dollars. I started out with a rusty metal vase that cost $1 at a yard sale, then the must for Rust $5 and black spray paint I had on hand. Spray paint really does change the look of everything. The possibilities are endless. Have a Great weekend; we are off to take some family photos tomorrow. I will share those with you next week. Enjoy and as always I appreciate you stopping by. Drop me a line.

Hugs,

Vanessa
